Creating Your Reality: The Science of Manifestation

In quantum physics, the observer effect states that the act of observing a particle can change its behaviour. This principle suggests that our thoughts and emotions can influence the outcome of events and experiences in our lives. Some manifestation proponents believe this principle supports the idea that our thoughts and emotions can shape our reality.

In neuroscience, the brain's ability to create new neural pathways and rewire itself is known as neuroplasticity. This means that we can change our thought patterns and beliefs and, therefore, our actions and behaviours. Changing our thoughts and beliefs can alter our reality and create desired outcomes.


The principles and practices of manifestation can be beneficial in promoting positive thinking, goal setting, and personal growth.


When you practice manifestation, you tap into the power of your subconscious mind and align your thoughts, emotions, and actions with your desired outcome. This can help you to overcome limiting beliefs, negative thought patterns, and self-doubt that may be holding you back from achieving your goals.

Here's a simple manifestation practice that you can try:


Step 1: Set your intention. Think about what you want to manifest in your life, whether it's a new job, a loving relationship, improved health, or financial abundance. Be specific and clear about what you want, and write it down on a piece of paper.


Step 2: Visualize your desired outcome. Close your eyes and imagine yourself already having achieved your desired outcome. See the details of your success and feel the emotions of happiness, excitement, and gratitude that come with it. Visualize this outcome as vividly as possible, using all your senses.


Step 3: Affirm your intention. Repeat a positive affirmation that reinforces your intention, such as "I am attracting abundance and prosperity into my life" or "I am deserving of love and a fulfilling relationship." Say it out loud or write it down several times.


Step 4: Take inspired action. Take a small step towards your goal that feels achievable and aligned with your intention. For example, if you want to attract a new job, update your resume, or start networking with people in your desired field.


Step 5: Trust the process. Believe that the universe is working in your favour and that your desired outcome is coming to you. Trust that the actions you take and the energy you put out will bring you closer to your manifestation.


Repeat this practice regularly, ideally daily, until you manifest your desired outcome. Remember to stay positive and open to opportunities that come your way and to be patient and persistent in your manifestation journey.
